Located at 77 Republic Ave, Joliet, IL 60435, Bay Auto Spa operates as a car wash serving Joliet in Illinois. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.

Car washes in the United States come in four main formats: the express tunnel, where you stay in the car while a conveyor pulls it through brushes or high-pressure jets; the full-service wash, where attendants vacuum and wipe down the interior after the tunnel; the self-service bay with a coin or card-operated pressure wand, foam brush and vacuums; and the hand wash, where a crew washes and dries the car by hand. Touchless tunnels skip the cloth brushes entirely and rely on chemicals and water pressure, which is gentler on paint but less effective on heavy grime. Most express chains sell an unlimited monthly plan, usually priced at two to three single washes, that is only worth it if you wash more than twice a month. Gas stations often bundle a discounted wash with a fill-up.

Excellent JOB DONE. ALEX told me my 2023 CT4 CADILLAC would look NEW and it does. I've been coming to this same location for several years.....approx 20. Junior detailed my BENZ when I sold it. This is a great place to get a great job done. TRY THEM. ASK FOR ALEX.

Place has changed and poor quality work. I took my wifes car for a full service car wash and the door jams weren't even wiped down wheels were still dirty and they dont even vacuum the trunk. When I got home I still had to spend 20 minutes cleaning it. Save your money and go somewhere else!!

Waited in line for 25 minutes before going through express wash. They have detailing option that hold up line if you want quick wash do not recommend.

Just went there for the first time in 6 months. They did a wonderful job - perfectly equivalent to the price charged. I but the $16 wash and come away witha car that is clean inside and out. VERY happy! Incidentally, they appear to be redecorating into a sports bar format / car wash - maybe will even serve drinks. Very interesting...

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Bay Auto Spa absolutely got my Benz right! My car looks brand new and smells AMAZING. Every detail was on point, clean, fresh, and done with care. This is hands-down one of the best car spa experiences I’ve had in Joliet. Shoutout to Junior and Alex — they did a phenomenal job. You can tell they take pride in their work. If you’re looking to spruce up your car and drive off feeling like you just left the dealership, this is the place. 📍 Bay Auto Spa (old Motor Mat location) ✔️ Highly recommend ✔️ Will definitely be back

I came up with Motor Mat. I was very sad to find out the hard way there's new owners. This new car wash is terrible. They couldn't even let me inside while they cleaned my truck while it was freezing outside. They offered no discount for the inconvenience. What disturbed me the most is that the employees had nowhere to warm up. Poor customer service and even poorer working conditions. Do not support this place.
